The PlayRoom is a functional space designed by WeNew Innovation where children interact and play while receiving wellness therapies. To envision this project the designers studied child behavior and translated a child’s natural tendencies into the space, creating toys out of the interactive architecture. The project’s concept was born from the trend of time valorization combined with wellcare. Thus, while kids are playing, treatments such as color therapy, music therapy, aromatherapy, and reflexology are happening in a natural and organic way. "Each interaction with the different parts of the space provides new discoveries and offers alternative forms of well-being,” says Vivian Grieco, Strategic Designer and co-founder. The interactive experiences of the space include an interactive floor “piano” with Suvinil’s new color palette (a leading paint company in Brazil). Each key of the piano, when stepped on, sounds a note of the piano that corresponds to a color, according to a color therapy study. The space also features interactive wall paint that, with a simple hand movement facing the wall, allows a child to paint and re-paint the wall in a virtual and interactive way.
